CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Aug. 19, 2025) – Tringali Park Recreation Center in Englewood is launching an Intro to Pickleball class for adults from 12 p.m.-3 p.m., on Saturdays beginning Sept. 13. The class is $2 per person and designed to be a “one and done” introductory class to prepare participants to play at the beginner level.
“Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country, and Tringali is excited to help residents get involved. Our Intro to Pickleball classes give people a welcoming space to learn the basics, build confidence, and enjoy the game both socially and competitively,” said Charlotte County Community Services Coordinator Joele Kirkpatrick.
Participants will learn the basics of the game, including how to serve, score and play. Paddles are available for use but participants are encouraged to bring their own paddles if they have them.
“To make participation easier for those with busy weekday schedules, classes are held on Saturdays.” Kirkpatrick said.
Registration is required. Space is limited. Register online at https://tinyurl.com/IntroPickleball25.
