Project Description
The Ackerman Municipal Services Benefit Unit (MSBU) was approved in November 2019. It includes construction of a wastewater collection system to service approximately 1,300 properties with sewer service, new water service lines and a vacuum station that will provide sewer collection for the wastewater system. The project is divided into four zones and a low-pressure sewer (LPS) section.

Project Impacts
During construction, residents may experience noise, dust, lane closures or detours, reduced access to driveways or sidewalks and the presence of construction crews and equipment in the area. Utility service interruptions will be communicated in advance and are temporary. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.
Septic system inspection notices are managed by the Florida Department of Health. Visit their website for more information. For information about maintaining a septic system, visit the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
