Fire Station 6 is located at 27589 Disston Ave, Punta Gorda. The present building is undersized and does not meet the current and future needs including,
- not hardened for hurricane resistance
- lack of capacity for storage, equipment, apparatus and supplies
- inadequate personnel capacity and kitchen facilities.
