Charlotte County Economic Development is proud to recognize Ashley Turner, public information officer for Charlotte County Public Safety, as a 40 Under 40 honoree, highlighting the young professionals who are helping shape Charlotte County’s future.
Turner is a Charlotte County native and graduate of Charlotte County Public Schools who returned home to build her career and life in the community that shaped her. Her story reflects the goal of Careers on the Coast: showing that Charlotte County is a place where young professionals can grow, lead, raise families and make a meaningful impact close to home.
“Stories like Ashley’s help show what is possible in Charlotte County,” said Kay Tracy, director of Charlotte County Economic Development. “Our 40 Under 40 program is about more than recognition. It is about showcasing the people who are choosing to build their careers, families and futures here.”
Turner began working for Charlotte County in 2018 and has continued to grow in her career while staying involved in the community. She has coached youth basketball, served on an academic advisory board and participated in outreach events that connect residents, students and families with local opportunities.
Charlotte County’s 40 Under 40 program highlights professionals who are leading, serving and contributing to the region’s long-term success. Through Careers on the Coast, the program helps tell the story of Charlotte County as a community where young talent can thrive.
