CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Nov. 25, 2025) — There will be temporary lane closures in numerous locations around the county from Dec. 4 through Dec. 11 while workers perform tree trimming and spread mulch in road medians. All work to occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The work will be performed on the following dates in the locations indicated:
Dec. 4-11
U.S. 41 (Sarasota County Line to Enterprise Drive)
Toledo Blade Blvd to Hillsborough Blvd
Murdock Circle (S.R. 776 to U.S. 41)
Dec. 8-11
Edgewater Blvd (Harbor Blvd to Midway Blvd)
Midway Blvd (Harbor Blvd to Elkcam Blvd)
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
