Storm surges caused severe erosion and structural damage along the Railroad Line, including exposed mangrove roots, a washed-out fishing pier needing full replacement, and damaged support poles, handrails, and gates. Additional impacts include a 100 linear feet access trail, displaced electrical poles, damaged signage, lighting, monofilament bins, trash/recycling containers, and a boardwalk handrail. Riprap and fill are needed for shoreline stabilization.
