Washington Loop over Prairie Creek Bridge Replacement

Project Description

Charlotte County has retained Kimley-Horn and Associates to design the replacement of the Washington Loop Bridge over Prairie Creek. Originally constructed in 1961, the existing bridge has experienced overtopping during storm events, leading to periodic closures. The new bridge design will address these issues by raising the structure to accommodate increased water volume and flow velocity during flooding events.

Washington Loop Road over Prairie Creek
