CC-TV’s ‘Choices and Chances’ Premieres on May 10

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (May 8, 2024) – The award-winning film, “Choices and Chances”, will premiere at noon, May 10 on CC-TV, Comcast channel 20 and Charlotte County’s YouTube page,

“Choices and Chances”, produced and directed by CC-TV Program Manager Elizabeth Sporillo, examines the turbulent world of today’s youth. When a high school student tragically dies in a car crash, popular classmate Tiffany spirals into depression. She becomes the target of bullies until she realizes that the choices we make are chances we take with the lives of those who love us most.

This informative and thought-provoking film tackles pressing issues faced by teenagers, including texting while driving, bullying, substance abuse, PTSD, survivor guilt, and teen suicide.

“Choices and Chances” won the National Association of Television and Communications Officers’ Award of Honor in 2019. It has been shown in numerous group settings and used as a catalyst for discussing the serious issues it tackles.

CC-TV is Charlotte County’s local government television channel. In addition to award-winning original programming, CC-TV broadcasts local government meetings, information about county facilities, programs and policies, and emergency information. It can be viewed on Comcast channel 20 or online at CC-TV recently began streaming on smart TVs, phones and tablets.
