Portions of Kevitt Boulevard Closed for Disaster Debris Management Site

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2024) – Kevitt Boulevard between N. Access Road and Grouse Avenue in Port Charlotte will be closed to public traffic beginning Oct. 15. The area will be used as a disaster debris management site. Please expect heavy traffic as debris-hauling trucks come and go from the area.

Warning signs will be in place to aid in travel through this area. Travelers should seek an alternate route and allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.

The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
