CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Nov. 25, 2024) – State contractors are currently removing debris from navigable waterways in Charlotte County. They have collected more than 16,000 cubic yards of marine debris so far. To report debris in canals or local waterways, please contact the Florida Division of Emergency Management. You can submit a report online at FloridaDebrisCleanup.com or call 850-366-6007, available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
