Project Description
Charlotte County has undertaken this study in response to the future growth along the Burnt Store Road Corridor. The purpose of this study is to prepare a transportation traffic modeling analysis to identify future capacity needs and a preliminary engineering and environmental evaluation to establish a preferred east-west roadway alignment to connect Burnt Store Road to US 41. Final design, right-of-way acquisition, and construction phases are not funded.

A public information meeting is scheduled to display project preliminary alignment alternatives and give the public the opportunity to learn about the project and to provide comments.
