Marine Advisory - South Gulf Cove Lock Unstaffed

South Gulf Cove lock tenders will staff the lock from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. The lock will remain operational in manual mode until it is once again safe to staff.

The Charlotte County Commission on Tuesday declared a local state of emergency due to Tropical Storm Helene. The county is currently under a tropical storm and storm surge watch.

Harbour Heights Park Fishing Piers Closed Sept. 23

The fishing piers at Harbour Heights Park located at 27420 Voyageur Dr., Punta Gorda, FL 33983 will be closed for landward seawall replacement work on Sept. 23, 2024.
