Intermittent lane closures will occur from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the following days on Melbourne Street, from Farnam Street to Shady Lane:
- Wednesday, May 14 through Thursday, May 15
- Monday, May 19 through Thursday, May 22
- Tuesday, May 27 through Thursday, May 29
These closures are required to install a new water main for Charlotte Harbor Water Association.
Travelers are directed to a detour with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
