The Englewood Charlotte Library will reopen at 10 a.m. and resume regular operating hours on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Library patrons will have access to charging stations, computers, and Wi-Fi.
Portions of Kevitt Boulevard Closed for Disaster Debris Management Site

Kevitt Boulevard between N. Access Road and Grouse Avenue in Port Charlotte will be closed to public traffic beginning Oct. 15. The area will be used as a disaster debris management site. Please expect heavy traffic as debris-hauling trucks come and go from the area.

Drop-Off Locations Added for Debris

Port Charlotte Public Library Reopens

The Port Charlotte Public Library has reopened as of 10 a.m., Oct. 15, following Hurricane Milton. The Port Charlotte Public Library and the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library have both resumed normal operating hours. The Englewood Charlotte Public Library remains closed.
South End of Manasota Key Reopens to Residents and Businesses

The south end of Manasota Key has reopened to residents and businesses. Charlotte County Community Development has done an initial damage assessment and affected properties have been tagged with notifications of the condition by a placard placed on the structure.
Community Development Inspections to Resume Oct. 16

The Charlotte County Community Development Department will resume building inspections on Wednesday, Oct. 16. Scheduling of inspections on the IVR system or online through the contractor portal has opened as of today, Oct. 15.
