Sand Drop-off Sites Now Open Monday-Friday

Two sand drop-off sites are now open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The sites will also be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Two sand drop-off sites remain open at the north end of the parking area in Englewood Beach at Chadwick Park, 2100 N. Beach Road in Englewood, and at 1 N. Gulf Blvd. on Don Pedro Knight Islands. These sites will now be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday.
County Opens Permitting Site in Englewood for Residential Storm-Related Permits

The Charlotte County Community Development Department has opened a pop-up permitting site at the Mac V. Horton West County Annex, located at 6868 San Casa Drive, Englewood. This location will assist homeowners and contractors with residential storm-related permits.
