Natural Resources Installs Fence with Screening at Englewood Beach

Charlotte County Natural Resources staff has installed and will continue to install a fence with screening along the historic dune line that was impacted on Englewood Beach in order to protect nesting female sea turtles and emerging sea turtle hatchlings from entering the parking lot and road.

Phase I Reopening of Englewood Beach Park

The southern entrance to Englewood Beach parking lot will reopen on Wednesday, April 2, providing pedestrian access onto the beach. Parking spaces will be limited.

Business Recovery Center Relocated to Family Service Center

The Business Recovery Center has relocated from the Town Center mall to the Family Services Center at 21500 Gibralter Drive in Port Charlotte to assist residents affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The BRC provides SBA assistance to businesses and residents who sustained economic losses from either hurricane.
Traffic Advisory-Bridge Closed on Ingraham Boulevard over President’s Waterway
