Charlotte County Utilities Reminds Residents of Water Conservation Measures

The Charlotte County Utilities Department reminds residents of year-round water conservation measures. Due to the extreme heat and lack of rain we are seeing higher water usage for irrigation. Compared to last year we are averaging a million gallons more of usage per day. Without a reduction in water demands, we may be required to reduce pressure within the system to maintain storage levels.
